Star Of The Sea

Star of the Sea Church, Ballycotton, County Cork was founded on 23rd April, 1899 and was consecrated on 15th August 1901 by Bishop Browne of Cloyne. Up to that point the absence of a church in Ballycotton was the cause of much concern right through the 1800s.
